ORDER CONFIRMATION & PAYMENT
TO SECURE YOUR ORDER, A 50% NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. THIS DEPOSIT CONFIRMS YOUR ORDER FOR THE SELECTED DATE. BOOKINGS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL A DEPOSIT HAS BEEN RECEIVED. THE REMAINING BALANCE OF THE ORDER IS TO BE PAID IN FULL SEVEN (7) DAYS PRIOR TO PICK UP OR DELIVERY DATE, UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED UPON. CLIENTS ARE ALSO WELCOME TO PAY IN FULL UPFRONT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. ALL PAYMENTS ARE MADE VIA A DIRECT BANK TRANSFER. IF YOU ARE ONLY ABLE TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD, PLEASE MAKE US AWARE OF THIS AT THE BOOKING TIME.
CHANGES MADE AFTER BEING INVOICED
YOU MAY INCUR A $25 ADMIN FEE IF YOU MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER WITHOUT GOOD REASON. EACH CHANGE TAKES US TIME TO ALTER IN YOUR BOOKING AND INVOICE. IT MAY ALSO COST US IN GOODS ALREADY PURCHASED. ONCE YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR INVOICE, IT IS ASSUMED YOU ARE HAPPY WITH ALL PRICES AND GOODS ORDERED. THIS BEING SAID, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD MORE ONTO THE ORDER, THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE SURE OF THE NUMBER OF GUESTS, DESIGN AND DATE BEFORE CONFIRMING.
CANCELLATIONS
ANY CANCELLATIONS WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF YOUR NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. ALL CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES MUST BE IN WRITING. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR BOOKING WITHIN 3 DAYS OF YOUR PICK UP OR DELIVERY DATE, THE FULL BOOKING AMOUNT WILL BE FORFEITED. WE ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT THINGS HAPPEN. IF YOU NEED TO MOVE YOUR DATE, YOU WILL NEED TO NOTIFY US IN WRITING. THE NEW DATE WILL BE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY AND WE MAY BE ABLE TO CARRY OVER THE DEPOSIT.
REFUNDS
WE WANT YOU TO BE 100% HAPPY WITH YOUR ORDER! HOWEVER, REFUNDS THAT ARE REQUESTED DUE TO DISSATISFACTION OF DESIGN, COLOUR SHADE OR GENERAL DECORATION WILL NOT BE HONOURED. IT IS UP TO YOU TO MAKE YOUR DESIGN WISHES CLEAR BY PROVIDING ENOUGH DETAIL AND WE TRUST YOU HAVE SELECTED US BECAUSE YOU LOVE OUR STYLE AND TRUST OUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/OPINIONS. IF YOU ARE UNSATISFIED WITH THE FLAVOUR QUALITY OF YOUR CAKE AND REQUEST A REFUND, THIS WILL BE ASSESSED AT THE DISCRETION OF OUR STAFF. IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES, THE CAKE MUST BE RETURNED.
UNFORTUNATELY, WE ARE UNABLE TO ISSUE A REFUND FOR A CAKE / DESSERT ITEM THAT HAS BEEN CONSUMED. YOU DON’T GET REFUNDED FOR FOOD CONSUMED IN A RESTAURANT SO PLEASE DON’T EXPECT THE SAME FROM US.
IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY AT PICK UP, THERE IS ALWAYS A GOOD CHANCE OF US FINDING A SOLUTION. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SENDING SOMEONE ELSE TO COLLECT THE CAKE MEANS THAT THIS WILL NOT BE AN OPTION TO YOU.
DAMAGE
WE AIMS TO PROVIDE AS MUCH DETAIL AND ASSISTANCE IN RELATION TO BEST STORAGE FOR YOUR ORDER IN PERSON AND VIA OUR WEBSITE. WE TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY IF A CAKE IS DAMAGED AFTER IT HAS BEEN PICKED UP BY THE CLIENT OR A DESIGNATED PERSON, OR, DELIVERED TO THE CLIENT’S ADDRESS OR EVENT SPACE.
PICK UP / DELIVERY
ORDERS CAN BE ELECTED TO BE EITHER PICKED UP FROM THE OUR ADDRESS, OR TO BE DELIVERED. THIS MUST BE STATED AT THE TIME OF YOUR BOOKING. ORDERS MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE AGREED UPON TIME AS WE OPERATE A STRICT SCHEDULE AND OFTEN HAVE OTHER DELIVERIES OR PICK UPS TO FULFIL. IF YOU ARE LATE, YOU MAY HAVE TO COME BACK TO COLLECT OR YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY FOR DELIVERY OF YOUR CAKE.
IN ORDER TO QUOTE YOU FOR DELIVERY, WE REQUIRE AN ADDRESS. CAKE DELIVERY TIMES ARE AGREED UPON AT THE TIME OF BOOKING BY THE CLIENT AND US. ALL DELIVERY TIMES ARE GIVEN AS A DELIVERY WINDOW ESTIMATE, AND WE WILL AIM TO BE IN TOUCH ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY TO GIVE A MORE ACCURATE TIME.
WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE FRESHNESS OF YOUR PRODUCT IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO GIVE ADEQUATE NOTICE FOR A CHANGE IN PICK UP TIME.
DESIGN
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE DESIGN + CREATIVE PROCESS, WE DO NOT COPY OR REPLICATE OTHER ARTIST’S WORK. WE MAY USE YOUR INSPIRATION IMAGES AS INSPIRATION ONLY. NO TWO CAKES CAN EVER BE THE SAME - EVEN MY OWN.
COVID
IN CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE A LOCKDOWN IS ANNOUNCED WITHIN 2 DAYS OF THE ORDER DUE DATE, WE WILL WEAR THE COSTS OF THE EDIBLE INGREDIENTS & LABOUR COMMENCED IF THE ORDER IS POSTPONED BEFORE THE CAKE IS COMPLETED. IF THE ORDER HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND THE CAKE IS POSTPONED, WE WILL ENDEAVOUR TO MAKE A PLAN WHERE BOTH PARTIES ARE NOT AT A COMPLETE LOSS, HOWEVER, THE CUSTOMER MAY HAVE TO COVER THE COST OF FLOWERS (IF APPLICABLE TO THE ORDER). IF THE ORDER IS CANCELLED COMPLETELY DUE TO THE CUSTOMERS OWN PERSONAL REASONS/CHOICE ON THE DATE OF PICK UP, THE FULL COST OF THE CAKE WILL BE DUE AND YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF COLLECTING THE CAKE STILL. IF THE SUFFICIENT NOTICE IS GIVEN (2-3 DAYS+ PRIOR), POSSIBLY ONLY CUSTOM FLOWERS/TOPPERS/FIGURINES WILL NEED TO STILL BE PAID FOR AS THESE ARE ORDERED IN ADVANCE AND HAVE A SHELF LIFE. IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL IN ADVANCE (2 WEEKS +), YOU MAY BE REFUNDED YOUR FULL AMOUNT, HOWEVER, YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO AN ADMIN FEE FOR THE TIME, PROCESSING FEES AND POSSIBLE PRODUCTS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN PURCHASED.
AGREEMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PAYMENT OF YOUR DEPOSIT IS CONSIDERED THAT YOU ARE IN AGREEMENT OF ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTIFICATION.
